Applications Systems Analyst (Journeyman) – Document Conversion

As an Applications Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for efforts related to document conversion from SGML to Microsoft Word, and forms conversion from XFDL to Adobe XDP format. You will be working with our team at an Army organization at Fort Belvoir, VA.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Contribute to the overall plan for conversion of documents from SGML to Microsoft Word, and forms from IBM XFDL to Adobe XDP for the Army organization
  • Develop specifications for document conversions and forms conversion
  • Run document conversion and forms conversions on sample documents and tweak outputs
  • Provide input on performance of scripts
  • Obtain input and validation from the client and other project team members
  • Provide overview of the conversions and assist client staff in document and forms conversion
  • Other relevant duties as appropriate from time to time

GENERAL EXPERIENCE:

  • SGML and XML
  • IBM XFDL Format
  • Adobe XDP Format
  • Document and forms conversion projects
  • Preferably, experience working an a Department of Defense organization or federal agency

Applications Systems Analyst (Senior) – Data And Content Migration

As a Senior Applications Systems Analyst, you will be leading the effort for migration of documents, metadata, forms, process information and one legacy database from IBM system to a newly implemented Documentum system. You will be working with our team at an Army organization at Fort Belvoir, VA.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Analyze and develop plan for migration of documents, metadata, forms, process information and legacy database from IBM system to a newly implemented Documentum system. Initial Operating Capability (IOC) is to be achieved within 120 days, and Full Operating Capability (FOC) is to be achieved within 210 days
  • Work with Documentum implementation team and provide input from legacy IBM configuration
  • Write specification for development of migration scripts, and implement migration scripts
  • Working with the team, initiate migration scripts and validate results
  • Management of resources on the migration task
  • Other relevant duties as appropriate from time to time

GENERAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Expereince with IBM DB2 Vesion 8.2 (or similar)
  • Experience with Documentum
  • Ideally, experience in migration documents from IBM to Documentum. Or, experience in document migration projects
  • Preferably, experience working an a Department of Defense organization or federal agency

Web Content Analyst

The Web Content Analyst position is for an upcoming NIH project is for working onsite at the NIH in Bethesda, MD. The candidate will work with client staff, and coordinate with Ictect team for new developments and ongoing work on an NIH website.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Work closely with client and team to define and manage project priorities and tasks on a day-to-day basis
  • Plan and implement content updates and website modification
  • Develop and implement plan for section 508 compliance
  • Provide training for client staff on the content management features of the website

GENERAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Track record of managing websites with annual traffic of 3 million visits
  • Knowledge of and experience with Percussion content management system
  • Familiarity with the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Policies for Federal Agency Public websites
  • Previous experience working with the Federal Government and/or the NIH or website related work experience in the for-profit or non-profit sectors
  • Experience in using analytics to assess the end-user experience and demonstrated experience in applying that data to suggest continuous improvements to websites
  • Demonstrated track record of implementing of website best-practices in previous or current website maintenance contracts either through documented assessments or reports
  • Demonstrated history of reporting on potential improvements or innovations in previous or current website maintenance contracts
  • Knowledge of Spanish is a plus

C++ Developer

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Ictect, Inc., based in Sturtevant, WI is looking for C++ Developers for its Product Development division. The position is focused primarily on C++ development for the Company’s patented technology. Some C# development will also be required.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:

  • C++ development
  • Development using Microsoft Office and XML
  • Implementation of a rigorous C++ software development process, including code review, testing, coverage, etc.
  • Training others in C++ developments
  • Participation in global product development activities

GENERAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Masters in Computer Science or related field is required
  • Deep expertise in C++ development for Microsoft Windows on the .NET 2.0 and 3.5 platform using Visual Studio 2008
  • Experience with Visual Studio, Standard Templates Library (STL), ATL and COM is required
  • Proven knowledge of Object Oriented development concepts and practices is required
  • Experience or interest in training C++ and Object Oriented concepts
  • Attention to details is a must
